Our History
Established in 1925, the Oso General Store has had a long and vibrant history in the Stillaguamish valley. Over the years it has served as a General Store, Feed Store, Gas Station and Community Hub. Under new management, efforts are currently underway to repair and restore the building back to its former glory.

Situated on the banks of beautiful Deer Creek, let us be your jumping off spot for all the Stilly Valley has to offer. Hiking, rafting, camping, swimming, rock hounding, bird watching and much more.

What about the rest of the store?
Whether you are familiar with the Oso Store or a first time visitor, one cannot help but notice that the Mini-Mart is located at the South end of the building ... while the large main space traditionally occupied by the Store is currently not open to the public.
After over 90 years of serving the community, this historic building is in need of substantial repairs to ensure its future success. We have taken this task to heart and have embarked on a phased approach that will lead to the whole building being revitalized.
By opening of the smaller "mini-mart" in May of 2018, it has allowed us to provide the community with fuel, beverages, snacks and basic food items sooner, instead of waiting until the entire project is completed.
The long term goal is to properly rehabilitate the entire building so it will service the community for many years to come. Even though a project completion date has not been set, we are diligently moving forward with these needed repairs and are focused on preserving the old-fashioned charm of this local landmark.
